These include the Chair and Deputy, elected by RenewableNI members, and Chairs of the RenewableNI working groups and committees.

Tamasin Fraser

Member organisation: Omnipower Renewables

Tamasin is founder Managing Director of Omnipower Renewables, a renewable energy development and advisory company active across the UK and Ireland, specialising in identifying, acquiring and developing renewable energy sites. The company also works directly with energy users to increase their sustainability and reduce their costs.

Before founding Omnipower Renewables, Tamasin was UK Director for a leading international renewables developer, where she was responsible for establishing and delivering a 3 GW pipeline of onshore wind, solar, energy storage and hydrogen projects across the UK. A graduate of Queen’s University Belfast and Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, she is a Chartered Planner with almost 20 years’ industry experience.

Deputy Chair of RenewableNI

Sara Tinsley BSc, DipTP, MRTPI

Member Organisation: Energia Renewables

A Chartered Town Planner, Sara is responsible for a team managing planning and environmental matters across Ireland, supporting the development of wind, solar, battery storage, hydrogen production, and other renewable technologies.

Prior to joining Energia Renewables, Sara worked in private consultancy and has extensive experience of the development industry, advancing schemes for a range of major clients including energy companies.

Sara is outgoing Chair of the RenewableNI Planning Working Group and sits on the Planning Committee for Wind Energy Ireland. She is a Committee member of the Planning and Environmental Law Association for Northern Ireland and also sits on University of Ulster’s UPLAN Advisory Group.

RenewableNI Committee

The RenewableNI Committee is the governing committee of the membership group.  The Committee receives updates across key workstreams; markets, planning, grid, offshore and small scale.  It will also will decide RNI positions on key issues within the sector.

Steven Agnew

Steven Agnew leads the RenewableNI team. He is responsible for public affairs and engagement and lobbies on behalf of RenewableNI members to achieve our strategic goals.
A former Green Party MLA, Steven sits of the board of Energy Cloud.

Communications and Events Manager

Judith Rance Chart.PR

Judith is responsible for media inquiries, RenewableNI’s website, social media platforms and all communications. Judith also manages events at RenewableNI including the Smart Energy Conference in October, and the award nominated Renewable Energy series.
Judith is a Chartered Public Relations Practitioner and Member of CIPR.

Laoiseach has engaged in policy and communications roles in the renewable energy sector, including client work Hydrogen NI.
Laoiseach leads in grid, markets and offshore and supports the working groups.

Shane Corcoran

Shane joined RenewableNI at the end of July. He has a background in quantitative and qualitative research, along with project and client management experience.
Shane will lead in the area of grid and markets, and supports the working groups.

With years of experience from advertising agencies and, more recently, charity, Áine will be focused on digital communications and marketing at RenewableNI.
