As Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPAs) become more popular for renewable energy projects, RenewableNI hosted a free seminar to help you learn more about the emerging trend.
Russell Smyth, KPMG, provided an overview of the Corporate Power Purchase Agreement market in NI and James Temple outlined Flogas role in how sleeving operates. Niamh Collins, A&L Goodbody gave a legal update on CPPAs.

Russell leads the KPMG’s renewable energy advisory practice.
He has extensive experience across a wide variety of technologies including onshore and offshore wind, solar, wood biomass, anaerobic digestion and energy from waste.
Niamh Collins

Niamh Collins is a senior associate in A&L Goodbody’s Energy team in Belfast. She specialises in advising on complex acquisitions and project finance in the energy industry and has experience in the onshore wind, solar, AD, waste energy gas and electricity infrastructure sectors. She also specialises in providing regulatory advice in respect of the electricity, gas and renewable energy sectors.
James Temple

James has been working with Flogas Enterprise since 2016. James manages Flogas Enterprise’s PPA portfolio in ROI and NI with a strong emphasis on positive relationships wind and solar farmers. James and the Flogas team are bringing large corporate energy users to the market to provide PPA options for renewable developers. In recent years Flogas has coordinated PPA deals with companies such as Vodafone, Britvic, Bon Secours, the Merrion Hotel and more. Flogas’ ambition in the PPA market is to democratise Corporate PPAs, making them accessible to companies of all sizes and sectors.
