Smart Energy 2024 returns to Belfast's ICC, Northern Ireland's only purpose built international conference centre located in the center of the city.
Overlooking the River Lagan, registration will take place in the Riverside Foyer before moving Hall 2 for the main conference sessions.

How do I get to Smart Energy by bus?
ICC Belfast is in a prime location for visitors arriving by bus.
The two city centre bus stations are a short walk from the venue and there is a Translink Glider stop right outside. The Aircoach bus service connects Belfast with Dublin Airport and Dublin City Centre, operating over 10 daily routes.
How do I get to Smart Energy by car?
There are two privately owned car parks beside the venue. Oxford Street is located just 100 metres from ICC Belfast and Lanyon Place is just a short walk from ICC Belfast.

How do I get to Smart Energy by train?
ICC Belfast is within walking distance of both Belfast’s city centre train stations, with Lanyon Place Train Station just a two-minute walk from the venue. The new Grand Central opened to trains in mid-October.
There are eight daily Enterprise rail services connecting the new Grand Central and Dublin Connolly Station.
How do I get to Smart Energy by plane?
With George Best Belfast City Airport just an eight-minute drive from our venue.
Belfast International Airport just a 30 minute drive and Dublin Airport 90 minutes away.
ICC Belfast is a short transfer time for delegates arriving via regional or international routes

ICC Belfast has committed to leading transformational change to become an accessible, diverse and inclusive venue. This included over 80% of staff completing Jam Card training which allows customers to communicate their accessibility needs discreetly, highlighting that they may need a little extra time and patience during their visit.

Where can I leave my bag/suitcase?
A free cloakroom is available in the concorse area behind escalator. Coats can also be left ofr free.
Where can I get lunch?
Your Smart Energy conference pass includes a networking lunch. This will be served in the exhibtion area and in hall outisde conference room.

Please be aware that the publicity of events often brings the opportunity for those interested in scams.
At previous events, we were alerted to emails from “Conferus” offering people the opportunity to purchase the Smart Energy attendee list. RenewableNI, and our parent company RenewableUK, do not share your booking details with anyone.
We direct you to the RenewableUK site for the booking portal. RUK members can make payment through their Membership page. We will never ask you for your information via other methods.
What time can I arrive?
Exhibitors will have access to set up from 8.00am.
Doors open to delegates at 9.05am. You should enter via the Riverside door.
What hotels are available?
Most hotels within walking distance of ICC Belfast, due to the central location, with access to both luxury and budget accommodations so they can relax and recharge during your visit.
