Please find below information to make your trip to Smart Energy 2021 as smooth a possible.

Spams and scams

Please be aware that the publicity of events often brings the opportunity for those interested in scams.

We have been alerted to emails from “Conferus” offering people the opportunity to purchase the Smart Energy attendee list. RenewableNI, and our parent company RenewableUK, do not share your booking details with anyone.

We direct you to the RenewableUK site for the booking portal.  RUK members can make payment through their Membership page.  We will never ask you for your information via other methods.

Covid Regulations

This event will comply with all current regulations and ensure the safety of all delegates.  You will be required to show proof of vaccination, negative covid test in previous 48 hours or proof of covid in previous 89 days.

ICC Belfast has been awarded the ‘We’re Good To Go’ mark, an industry standard demonstrating their commitment to implementing relevant government and public health guidance in relation to COVID-19.

Please read the venue’s mitigating measures.

We also recommend you complete a Lateral Flow test before attending.  You can order these free online.

Getting to the ICC

ICC Belfast is conveniently located within a 10-minute walk of the city centre. The address is: 2 Lanyon Place, Belfast, BT1 3WH.

The entrance to ICC Belfast is located beside the River Lagan, overlooking picturesque views of the river, this entrance is aptly named the Riverside Entrance.

If you are arriving at Belfast by train, the nearest station is Lanyon Place (where the Enterprise arrives).  To access ICC from here, please leave by going downstairs and walking towards the water front.  Turning left will bring you directly to the Riverside Entrance, located at the rear left of the building.

Bus and train times are available via the Translink Journey Planner.

The city of Belfast is served by two airports, Belfast International Airport (BFS) and George Best Belfast City Airport (BHD), which are located 25km and 5km from ICC Belfast respectively.

Car Parking

ICC Belfast is located within the heart of the City Centre which offers visitors access to a wide range of car parking facilities within walking distance to the Smart Energy event.

You can find a full range of the parking spaces available in Belfast on the City Council website or by downloading the parking app.
