Travelling to Smart Energy Conference venue
Clayton Hotel Belfast is ideally located in Belfast City centre; perfect for sight-seeing, shopping and attending events within the city. In the heart of the city centre, there are lots of things to do if you decide to extend your stay for a long weekend.
Easily accessible to George Best City Airport, Belfast International Airport, Belfast Central Train Station, Belfast Ferry Terminals, and the M1 and M2 motorways.
Public Transport connections
Our venue is a 5-minute walk from Europa Buscentre located in Great Victoria street where most of the regional buses arrive into. We are also only a few minutes’ walk from the Glider bus stop and the metro buses beside Belfast City Hall which will take you to the outskirts of the city.
Five minutes stroll around the corner, we are ideally located for guests arriving at Great Victoria Street Station. If you are travelling with luggage taxis are readily available, fares are typically £5.00.
Walking Directions from Bus and Tain: From Glengall Street turn right onto Great Victoria Street. At next traffic lights turn left onto Bruce Street. Turn left at next lights onto Bedford Street. Turn right at next lights onto Ormeau Avenue. The hotel will be on your right-hand side.
Services including the Enterprise from Dublin arrive at Lanyon Place Station, less than 15 minutes walk from our hotel or 5 minutes by taxi.
Walking Directions: Exit the station, turn left and walk 500m along East Bridge St. At the junction follow East Bridge Street round to the left. After 200m, at the major junction, turn right onto Ormeau Ave, you will see our hotel ahead on the left-hand side.

The city of Belfast is served by two airports, Belfast International Airport (BFS) and George Best Belfast City Airport (BHD), which are located 25km and 5km from Belfast respectively.
The hotel does not offer onsite parking, however we have a discounted rate for conference attendees of £12.50 for 24 hours at the nearby NCP car park on Dublin Road. Please bring parking token to the hotel front desk team to validate to be eligible for this offer.
Limited on-street parking is available around the hotel. Tickets must be purchased from the Pay & Display machines. A charge of £1.20 per hour applies from 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Saturday.

We direct you to the RenewableUK site for the booking portal. RUK members can make payment through their Membership page. We will never ask you for your information via other methods.
