In mid October, Steven Agnew, Director of RenewableNI spoke at the Phowenix Natural Gas Conference.
He said:
“I appreciated the opportunity to speak at the Phoenix Renewable Gas conference. A different audience for me, but the message remained the same: we need an electrification first approach to the climate emergency with hydrogen filling the gaps, but it must be green!
“The hydrogen opportunity is already bringing the renewables and gas sectors together and these collaborations will need to grow to deliver net zero. One day we might speak with the same voice but we need to have the hard conversations first.”
