Smart Energy 2026 is moving to the world-famous Europa is often referred to as the heartbeat of the city. Standing tall in the city centre for over 50 years, the Europa has attracted many famous faces from all over the world and hosted numerous prestigious events over the years. The Europa offers a choice of 272 hotel rooms, allowing delegates to stay over and network before and after the conference.

How do I get to Smart Energy by bus?
Directly behind the hotel is the new Grand Central Station. There is access to the station from both Glengall Street and Grosvenor Road and the entrances will be less than 200m from the old Europa Bus Centre facilities.
How do I get to Smart Energy by car?
Europa do not have a car park, however there is car parking available in the local area. Car parking is available at the Great Northern Car Park at a discounted rate of £14 for 24 hours (one entrance and one exit). Alternatively, car parking can also be found at Value Car Parks which is situated on Grosvenor Road (two minutes walk). In addition, the Europa Valet Parking service is £25 and is subject to availability due to ongoing roadworks.
How do I get to Smart Energy by train?
Directly behind the hotel is the new Grand Central Station. There is access to the station from both Glengall Street and Grosvenor Road and the entrances will be less than 200m from the old Europa Bus Centre facilities.
There are hourly Enterprise rail services connecting the new Grand Central and Dublin Connolly Station.
How do I get to Smart Energy by plane?
George Best Belfast City Airport just an eight-minute drive from our venue.
Belfast International Airport just a 30 minute drive and Dublin Airport 90 minutes away.
Europa concierge will be happy to make any transport arrangement. Fees apply.
Accessibility at Smart Energy
Europa have 3 x fully disabled double rooms with full wet room wall mounted seats. We also have 4 x disabled ambulant double rooms which have wet room facilities. Seat in shower is free standing as opposed to wall mounted. For twin room capabilities we have 2 x twin rooms with shower only small lip, grab rails and 1 x twin room with shallow low rise bath and shower overhead and grab rails.

Where can I leave my bag/suitcase?
A free cloakroom is available. Europa concierge will safely store your luggage in the concierge store before check-in and after check-out.
Where can I get lunch?
Your Smart Energy conference pass includes a networking lunch. This will be served in the exhibition area.

Please be aware that the publicity of events often brings the opportunity for those interested in scams.
At previous events, we were alerted to emails from “Conferus” offering people the opportunity to purchase the Smart Energy attendee list. RenewableNI, and our parent company RenewableUK, do not share your booking details with anyone.
We direct you to the RenewableUK site for the booking portal. RUK members can make payment through their Membership page. We will never ask you for your information via other methods.
What time can I arrive?
Exhibitors will have access to set up from 8.00am.
Doors open to delegates at 9.05am.
