Are you interested in the ground breaking Women in Renewables mentoring programme?
As part of RenewableNI’s commitment to increasing the number of women in the renewable sector, and advancing those already in the industry, we have created a new mentoring programme.
The scheme allows women in renewable energy to study at Belfast Met for a fully funded OCN Level 2 mentoring qualification while mentoring other women in the sector. The mentoring relationship with then continue after the course completes helping more women enter the renewable sector or advance their careers.
The pilot programme completed in June 2025, with 14 women achieving the new Women in Renewables Mentoring qualification. Following the review of the pilot the fulled funded Level 2 Women in Renewables qualification will have a second intake with the women receiving their qualification in March 2026.
Dates are pending for the third session. Expressions of interest are open for both course participants and those wishing to receive free mentoring as part of the programme.
