Women In Renewables, the only all-female energy conference returns for the third time, on Tuesday 4 March in Belfast.

Sponsored by SSE Renewables and SONI Ltd, the event aims to increase the number of women in the renewable sector and advance the careers of those already working in renewables.

The theme for 2025 is ‘STEM Role Models’ with the all-female panel and each of the table chairs being profiled allowing young females to see the variety of roles and pathways available.

RenewableNI Chair, Tamasin Fraser, said: “I am honoured to be chairing an all-female panel of industry experts on the importance of STEM role models in the renewable energy sector.  The event highlights the critical contributions of women in driving sustainable innovation and underscores our commitment to fostering diversity, empowering future leaders, and inspiring the next generation of female trailblazers.

“Woman in Renewables will bring together 130 females, which shows there is an interest in alternatives.  RenewableNI events are committed to an inclusive start time, having a diverse range of speakers and offer The Switch List to assist other event organisers.

Joining the panel for the official International Women’s Day event are:

  • Vicky Boden, Senior Community Investment Manager for Ireland, SSE Renewables;
  • Eimear Watson, Head of Networks, SONI;
  • Emma Kelly, Director (Planning), Turley;
